Get an AI key in 2 minutes

Your bot thinks using an AI service you choose. You sign up with them, copy a secret “key”, and paste it into Techvea once. They bill you directly and we add nothing on top, which is why Techvea has no per-chat fees. For a small site that is usually cents a month.

Easiest and free: Google Gemini

  1. Open aistudio.google.com/apikey and sign in with a Google account.
  2. Press Create API key and copy it.
  3. In Techvea open Dashboard → AI Provider, choose Gemini, paste the key and save.

Free tier, good to know

Google's free tier has daily limits that are plenty for a small site, and Google may use free-tier prompts to improve its products. For a store with real customers, turn on billing in Google AI Studio (the paid tier does not use your data that way and costs very little).

OpenAI (ChatGPT models)

  1. Open platform.openai.com/api-keys, sign in, and add a few dollars of prepaid credit under Billing.
  2. Press Create new secret key and copy it (it is shown once).
  3. Paste it in Techvea under AI Provider with OpenAI selected.

Anthropic (Claude)

  1. Open console.anthropic.com/settings/keys, sign in and add credit under Billing.
  2. Press Create Key and copy it.
  3. Paste it in Techvea under AI Provider with Anthropic selected.

What it costs

A typical answer uses a few thousand tokens. With the small, fast models (Gemini Flash, GPT-4o mini, Claude Haiku) that is well under a cent, so a small site usually pays about $2–10 a month. Set a monthly spending limit in the provider's dashboard if you like. Your key is stored encrypted and never shown again.
